Meet the Designer

CC’s journey into interior design began unexpectedly. Years ago, a guest admired her home and asked who her designer was. When she replied, “Me,” he insisted she go back to school to study design. Taking his advice, CC enrolled at the American Institute of Design, where she discovered a love for coastal style and expanded her studies abroad in Greece, exploring Mediterranean design.
With an MBA in Interior Design, CC began her career on Catalina Island, developing a passion for coastal-inspired living. She later moved to Sedona, where she opened her own brick-and-mortar store, a hands-on design lab where clients could see and feel curated products. Building on that success, she now resides in Chandler and plans to open a new store in the Phoenix Metro area. She is currently taking new clients in the Arcadia, Paradise Valley, and Biltmore area.

The Design Effect’s olive branch symbolizes harmony, balance, and peace. The same qualities found in the homes CC designs. Rooted in Mediterranean tradition, the olive branch represents timeless beauty and inner calm. In that spirit, each space is layered and effortless, refined yet livable, and always true to the people who call it home.
